Even in the tiny percentage of the land that we have been privileged to explore, the area offers huge diversity, chock full of potential for walking, hiking, trekking & adventure holidays. Let’s just take in the Southern Alps, from the Riviera and Provence through to the Alpes-Maritimes and the Mercantour National Park, and the North West segment of Italy, from Gran Paradiso and Piedmont to Arezzo in Tuscany.

Based in the South East of France - we concentrate on offering self catering accommodation, guided and independent walking and trekking holidays, plus tailor made adventures from one day to two weeks.

The common thread? A personal touch, local knowledge and a different slant in areas which are magnificent and relatively unknown, yet easily accessible by train or plane. There IS life beyond the Côte d'Azur, the lavender fields of Peter Mayle's Provence and the honey pots of the Savoie and Tuscany.

Take a few days R&R, accommodation only, with help on tap to allow you to get the max from your break. Alternatively you can join a small group for walking, hiking & adventure holidays suitable for groups of friends, solo travellers, couples and families. We love the challenge of organising tailor made breaks - from green foodies wanting to get under canvas, to adrenaline junkies with a penchant for a touch of luxury on the Mediterranean.

Our core area is the Mercantour National Park where we are still the only on site British company, and which Nick Danziger states as being one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Who are we to argue?
