Here in the Alpes-Maritimes, we are blessed with two "honey pot" resorts - Isola 2000 and Auron which offer down hill skiing predominantly, as well as a whole arm full of smaller ski resorts which are dotted about the hillsides. Perfect for the majority of users, individuals and families alike, who dash up from the coast to satisfy their desire for speed.

As an alternative approach, we propose a mixed week of snow activity, which consists of snowshoeing, ice climbing, downhill skiing and a winter summit attempt. A perfect combination of activities for the energetic. Cross country or nordic skiing is also available, as well as guided ski mountaineering.

Despite the short snow season there is snow above about 2000m until the early summer allowing snow addicts to get their fill until late on in the year.
